Denis Joseph Quill born February 8^th 1905, baptised February 8^th, Fr. D. Hanley. Godparents; William Kelly & Johanna Kelly. Denis settled in the home farm and married Mary Dore daughter of Mike Dore & Brigid Horan, Dirrha, Listowel (& later of Knockane, Listowel). Had a family of 11, one of whom was Liam, whom I knew quite well as we attended school in Abbeyfeale together in the mid 1960’s. The rest of the family as follows –  Timmy Quille born June .. 19.., Noreen Quille born Dec 19.., Michael Quille born January 19.., Breda Quille born February 19.., the aforementioned Liam Quille born April  19.., Mary Teresa Quille born October  19.., Eileen Quille born May  19.., Diarmuid Quille, born June  19.., Donncha Quille, born February 19.., Paudie Quille, born July 19.. and Catherine Quille born January 19…               Mary Dore Quille died Nov 20^th 1965 aged 45 years and is buried in Templeathea cemetery. Her husband Denis Quille died June 30^th 1989 aged 84 years and is buried in Holy Cross cemetery, Athea.
