MICHAEL5 DILLANE, son of William Dillane & Mary Feury,  was born on 20 Mar 1867 in Kinard, Glin, Co. Limerick, Ireland. He died in 1932 in Glin Co. Limerick Ireland. He married Catherine Dore, daughter of James Dore and Mary Fitzgibbon, on 31 Jul 1889 in Glin, Co. Limerick. She was born on 17 Feb 1868 in Glin, Co. Limerick and died at Glin on 09 Jan 1907.

Michael Dillane and Catherine Dore had the following children:

i. JAMES6 DILLANE was born in 1889. On Aug 18th, 1934 at Limerick Cathedral, James Dillane, a tailor, married Mary (Mamie) Costelloe from Clogough, Glin, daughter of Thomas Costelloe, a farmer, the witnesses being John Adams and Dollie O’Donovan. 

ii. MARY6 DILLANE was born on 27 Jun 1890 in Glin, Co. Limerick, Ireland. She died on 08 Mar 1975 in Ireland. On March 29th, 1932 at Glin church, Mary aged 32 years, daughter of Michael Dillane, a tailor, married Patrick Lawlee aged 49 years, a postman from Church St, Glin, son of Patrick Lawlee, a coachman, the witnesses being Michael Murray and Mary E. Reidy. 

iii. MARGARET6 DILLANE was born in 1891 in Glin Co. Limerick Ireland.

iv. CATHERINE6 DILLANE was born in 1895 in Ireland. She died in Sep 1903 in Ireland.

v. ANN6 DILLANE was born in 1895 in Ireland..

vi. WILLIAM6 DILLANE was born in 1896 in Ireland. He married MADGE MCCABE.

xi. GERALD6 DILLANE was born in 1904. He died on 23 Nov 1983 in Glin, Co. Limerick. He married Kathleen Barrett, daughter of Pat Barrett and Sidney Murphy, in Cook County, Illinois U.S.A. She was born in 1908 in Belmullet, County Mayo Ireland. She died in Ireland.
